ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Where Creativity, Learning and Practice Come Together
The Takoradi Technical University Graphic Design Department provides a learning environment where creative thinking is developed through research, studio practice, critique and practical production.
Students explore visual communication across areas such as branding, typography, advertising, packaging, photography, illustration, multimedia and print. The emphasis is not only on learning tools, but on understanding how design can communicate ideas clearly and respond to real audiences and contexts.
As the department marks 30 years of design education, it continues to connect established creative principles with contemporary technologies and evolving professional practice.
